Media Executive

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary/Description:

As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the Company’s revenue by selling advertising space and developing new client relationships within the market. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Client Development: Actively seek out and engage potential clients to sell advertising space. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advertising solutions.
  • Order Management: Enter client orders into the Wide Orbit traffic system accurately and efficiently. Ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and meet client specifications.
  • Marketing Plan Development: Utilize Wide Orbit sales software and PowerPoint to create comprehensive marketing plans for clients. These plans should effectively leverage the Company’s media platforms to maximize client exposure and achieve their marketing goals.
  • Account Management: Monitor and manage client accounts, including collecting past due accounts as needed. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production and news teams, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns. Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and strategies for client success.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous media sales experience is preferred, but any outside sales experience is a plus. Demonstrated success in sales and client relationship management is highly valued.
  • Skills: Strong ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent work experience will be strongly considered.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
