Shift / Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 6pm to 6am

Pay Rate: 

• $20 + shift differential
• $1.00 increase at 90 days and $1.00 after 1 Year, upon evaluation

This is a Temp-to-Hire position. FULL BENEFITS Start after being hired on!
Will also be $$ ELIGIBLE FOR QUARTERLY BONUSES $$

Job Description:

• Operating CNC machines in a production shop environment working with steel materials to machine parts and rail according to specifications as part of the manufacturing process of railroad track and turnout assemblies
• Use measuring devices to determine accuracy and to mark all rail accordingly
• Operate overhead cranes

Minimum Requirements:                                   

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2 years machinist/CNC machine operator experience

Qualifications and Experience

• Fabrication & Multi Axis (>4) machining experience in a manufacturing environment (millwork)
• Ability to multitask and work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to inspect rail using measuring devices
• Must be quality oriented and a team player
• Must have complete understanding of safe work practices
