Journeyman Electrician Job – Full-Time Role in Texas
We are hiring for a Journeyman Electrician Job with steady hours, strong pay, and great long-term opportunities. This role is a good fit for licensed electricians who want consistent work in the commercial or industrial field. Essential Job Functions – Journeyman Electrician Job
In this role, you will complete daily electrical tasks in a safe and skilled way. You will also work with customers and team members to finish each job on time.
Your responsibilities include:

Hold a valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License and a Driver’s License.

Use basic math skills to solve problems on the job.

Install and repair wiring, fixtures, equipment, and machinery by following code and blueprints.

Diagnose and repair motors, relays, switches, and breaker panels.

Install conduit, power supply wiring, and electrical systems in both new and existing buildings.

Measure, bend, thread, and install conduit using standard tools.

Complete your assigned tasks and turn in daily work orders.

Keep track of truck inventory and care for tools and equipment.

Follow all company and customer safety rules at all times.

Help train and guide other crew members.

Build strong and positive relationships with customers and vendors.

Finish each job by completing a Quality-Safety-Clean scorecard.
Supplemental Job Functions
You may also support daily operations in the field and office. This includes:

Helping with scheduling, field support, safety checks, and quality control.

Supporting the Branch Manager with technical needs and customer updates.

Managing multiple tasks during the workday.

Working on your own once training is complete.

Using good judgment and showing respect toward customers and coworkers.

Communicating clearly in writing and in person.

Completing accurate work orders every day.

Learning and using SMART goals.

Adjusting to changing workflows and work hours.

Working nights, weekends, or holidays when needed.

Traveling to job sites across the United States.

Job Requirements
Education and Licensing
-
High School diploma required.
-
4-year degree or electrical license preferred.
-
8,000 hours of electrical experience recommended.

Texas Journeyman or Master License required.
Experience
-
Industrial or commercial electrical experience required.
Work Environment

Work in hot, cold, wet, or outdoor areas.

Work at heights when needed.

Be aware of risks such as shock, fumes, or chemicals.
Physical Requirements

Lift 50 lbs overhead.

Walk, climb, sit, kneel, or crawl as needed.

Use hands and feet to operate tools and machines.

Read blueprints and electrical diagrams.

Identify many wire colors.
Pay
$35–$37 per hour or more, based on experience.
Hours: 40–50 per week.
